Beard surgery
PURPOSE :
Appropriate positioning of the auricle, possible modeling or reduction in the case of a large disproportion between the left and right sides.
SURGICAL TECHNIQUES:
Local anesthesia
course of the procedure: the procedure involves changing the angle of the auricle in relation to the skull, often associated with a change in the shape of the auricle. Make a barely visible cut behind the auricle, remove excess skin and possibly model the cartilage.
POST OPERATIVE CARE :
In the first 24 hours after the surgery, there are often severe pain, requiring painkillers. We remove the stitches 10 days after the procedure. For a period of at least 1 month, it is required to wear a forehead band at night in order to avoid accidental injury destroying the effect of the procedure.
POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS :
Bleeding, hematoma, infections, visible scar (requires correction).
LENGTS OF TIME PATIENT MUST REMAIN AFTER THE PROCEDURE:
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis.
TIME NEED FOR RECUPERATION:
Quick return to normal activities, however, due to the need to wear a dressing, the absence is usually around 10 days.

- coagulation disorders
- unregulated diabetes
- vascular blemishes
- infections in the treated area
