Lip Augmentation
PURPOSE :
correction of lip margins, corrections cutaneous folds, wrinkle removal
PROCEDURES:
anesthesia : local
procedure:the procedure requires precision injection of fillers (usually hyaluronic acid, Restylan, or hydrogel, Aquamid) or the patient's own tissue.
Autologous fat is obtained from the patient's abdominal or buttock region (small incision), and, after appropriate preparatory procedures, is injected into the area that requires correction.
This procedure is repeated after 3-6 month, and is fast and painless.
POST OPERATIVE CARE :
Follow-up 7 days after the procedure
POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS :
Identical to those described for injections
LENGTS OF TIME PATIENT MUST REMAIN AFTER THE PROCEDURE:
Hospitalization is not required, outpatient basis
TIME NEED FOR RECUPERATION:
Autonomous fat: There is swelling and redness for a few to several hours. The injected fat is firmer than the surrounding tissue for up to 3 months, after which the two have the same consistency. This procedure gives good results, often lasting several years.
Other fillers: There is swelling and redness for a few hours. The cosmetic effect is good, but shorter-lasting (6-12 months). Localized reactions vary from person to person. There is sometimes itchiness or pain in the injected area. Repeat treatment, in the case of unsatisfactory results, may be repeated every 4 months or after the filler is absorbed by the patient's body.
