Adipose tissue transplantation is used to fill deep facial wrinkles (lion's wrinkles, nasolabial folds, labial-chin folds), various types of soft tissue deficits in the face and other body parts. We also use our own adipose tissue to enlarge the lips.

Anesthesia: the procedure is performed under local anesthesia, in particularly sensitive people it is possible to use the EMLA anesthetic preparation. The procedure involves taking adipose tissue from various parts of the body (abdomen, hips, buttocks, knees) using appropriate probes and implanting it in the area to be corrected.

Removal of the patches, if they are used, takes 3 days. Daily change of dressings in places where the adipose tissue sampling probe is inserted.

The procedure takes 1-1.5 hours and is not very risky. Complications appear relatively rarely and are relatively harmless. There is almost always swelling and large hematomas in the area from which the adipose tissue was collected, and small hematomas at the site of adipose tissue injection. Infections are extremely rare and can be treated with antibiotics.

Attention! Only 40-50% of the injected fat heals, giving a lasting filling effect, hence a follow-up treatment after 3-6 months is usually recommended.

Return to full fitness after approx. 3 days. The filling effect lasts for up to several years.

Two weeks before the planned procedure, you should stop smoking and discontinue all medications that affect blood clotting (Aspirin, NSAIDs, vitamin preparations). In general, good health and proper laboratory test results are essential for the procedure to be performed. Emotional lability and the lack of specific (or excessive) expectations regarding the final effect of the treatment may be a contraindication to its performance.
